2022 Rewind: 'Survivor' Fan Favorite Ozzy Lusth Comes Out as Bisexual

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

EDGE is looking back at 2022 and we're resharing some of our favorite stories of the year.

"Survivor" star Ozzy Lusth, who has appeared on four seasons of the long-running CBS reality show, took to Twitter Friday to come out as bisexual.

"And for my Republican Colleagues, and anyone else who matters, Yeah I'm Bisexual. Am I committing crimes??" he wrote. "If so come get me. Let us ALL live with dignity. Ask yourself if you support people, or the fucked dogma you've been fed #ozzyisBi"

It's unclear what prompted Lusth, 40, for the tweet.

He went on to write:

Lusth started his "Survivor" career in 2006 with "Survivor: Cook Islands," later appearing on "Survivor: Micronesia" and "Survivor: South Pacific." Most recently, he appeared on Season 34, "Survivor: Game Changers." Since the show, Lusth has launched an OnlyFans account and spoke with Paper magazine last year about why he decided to start the x-rated account.

"I don't give a fuck about what anybody thinks. I know I'm a good guy. I have morals and ethics and I do right by people. My parents love me. I told them that I was going to do this. They were like, 'Are you sure you want to do that?' And I said, 'Yeah,'" he said, later adding, that, at the time, he was dating porn star Kissa Sins.

"[J]ust seeing her experience in the adult industry and getting a little closer to it personally made me more fascinated by it," Lusth said. "I always had thought it would be fun to do, but never really took it seriously because I had other interests. But being with her and exploring what it means to connect to people made me realize that I want to enjoy my sexuality. I love to perform for people, with people. I think that some of the biggest problems we have when it comes to sex is that we just don't talk about it.

"It's so taboo. I don't fancy myself a sex worker advocate, although I'm trying to learn as much as possible about the industry. I realize that I don't face nearly the same obstacles that a young trans person that's trying to make ends meet [does]," he added.
