EDGE is looking back at 2022 and we're resharing some of our favorite stories of the year.
After looking for love on "The Bachelor," coming out, and then documenting the process on Netflix's "Coming Out Colton," Colton Underwood is having cold feet about whether there will be a second season of the show.
In an interview with US Weekly magazine, Underwood said a Season 2 of "Coming Out Colton" might not be a "healthy decision" for his relationship with new fiancé Jordan C. Brown.
"I don't wanna speak in definitives, but I will say right now in the time of my life and in my relationship [with fiancé Jordan C. Brown], having a show revolve around that is not a healthy decision to make for either of us," says Underwood. He is currently promoting his appearance on the CBS' survival-type reality show "Beyond the Edge."
Underwood added, "So, right now there's not a Season 2. Right now, we're not exploring that for our relationships or for my work ventures."
Colton came out as gay in April 2021. The former football player has very publicly tried to make amends for his past manipulations to protect his sexuality. Now he feels he might want to keep his love life private.
"I have been through that. I have done that," Underwood told US Weekly last year. "Even going into the show, that was one of the conversations with the production company. ... I'm not in a space right now to really, like, put myself out there like that. I had a lot of self-discovery to do."
