Nevada SPCA Present Animals in Wonderland Benefit

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Join animal lovers and philanthropists on April 20 for an exquisite evening of wine, tea and desserts at the beloved annual event, "Animals in Wonderland." 2017 sees remarkable changes to this affair, inspired by the transformations of rescued animals at Nevada SPCA No-Kill Animal Shelter.

"Animals in Wonderland: Chapter 7 - Sunset at Shenandoah," presented by Las Vegas Review-Journal, is set to be the affair of the year with a labyrinth of characters from a certain mad hatter's tea party within the enchantment of the grand landscape of Wayne Newton's Casa de Shenandoah.

Guests will be treated to a variety of delicious desserts, wines, and an upscale tea bar as they mix with some of Vegas' finest and meet inspiring (and adoptable) rescued animals.

In addition, attendees can bid on a variety of exclusive silent auction items and compete for one-of-a-kind live auction experiences while having after hours access to the grounds of Las Vegas icon Wayne Newton.

Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to the belief that every life is precious. Funded entirely by private donations, the Society operates a no-kill shelter in Las Vegas for animals who have been abused, neglected or abandoned, or otherwise face homelessness and danger. It works to provide medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for thousands of animals each year and then place them in loving, forever homes.

Guests will meet at the visitor center for a red carpet and silent auction before being escorted to the grounds for the event and access. Tickets for this event are $150 per person. Attire is evening cocktail. Sponsors include Las Vegas Review Journal, Findlay Cadillac, Wayne Newton's Casa de Shenandoah and Proof Interactive.

"Animals in Wonderland: Chapter 7 - Sunset at Shenandoah," will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at Casa de Shenandoah, 3310 E. Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120.
