Huntington Theatre Nominated for 35 IRNE Awards

Huntington Theatre Company has received 35 IRNE Award nominations -- the most of any theatre company -- from the Independent Reviewers of New England for its 2014 productions. The Committee recognized the Huntington with the following nominations:
"Venus in Fur" by David Ives, directed by Daniel Goldstein (January - February 2014)
"The Seagull" by Anton Chekhov, translated by Paul Schmidt, directed by Maria Aitken (March - April 2014)
Becoming Cuba by Melinda Lopez, directed by M. Bevin O'Gara (March - May 2014)
Smart People by Lydia R. Diamond, directed by Peter DuBois (May - July 2014)
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by Todd Kreidler, based on the screenplay by William Rose, directed by David Esbjornson (September - October 2014)
Ether Dome by Elizabeth Egloff, directed by Michael Wilson (October - November 2014)
Awake and Sing! by Clifford Odets, directed by Melia Bensussen (November - December 2014)
