EDGE READ TIME: 1 MIN.
New Repertory Theatre will culminate its inaugural "Next Rep Black Box Festival" with the World Premiere production of "Pattern of Life" by Walt McGough, featuring Nael Nacer, Lewis D. Wheeler, and directed by Bridget Kathleen O'Leary.
The production will run from June 14-29, 2014 at the Boston University Theatre, Lane-Comley Studio 210 and will be co-presented with the Boston Center for American Performance.
The mistaken death of a young boy links two men thousands of miles apart. The first, a drone pilot, tries to fight through a haze of guilt and anxiety and find something human to hold on to. The second, a Pakistani villager, struggles to comprehend the tragedy and put a face on a faceless enemy. A series of shared dreams lets them begin to see one another and explore questions of revenge, justice and connection in a time of perpetual warfare.
Tickets are $30 general admission and $15 for BU College of Fine Arts members and New Rep subscribers. But the College of Fine Arts is offering a special Father's Day Discount. Use discount code FATHER for $15 tickets to the show.
The Lane-Comley Studio 210 is located at 264 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA.
