Model Marvin Cortes came out as bisexual on Instagram and launches an OnlyFans page.

Cortes was the runner-up on the 20th season of Tyra Banks' modeling competition "America's Next Top Model" that ran on the CW in 2013. He has since been seen in numerous fashion magazines, done photo shoots for such brands as Hugo Boss, Givenchy, Coca-Cola, Sears, and Samsung and developed his own male beauty line, according to a press release.

On Aug. 1, he posted a tweet that said, "Being my authentic self. Proud to be a part of the LGBT community." It had a link to his Instagram page that had an 11-minute video.

"I want to let you know that I'm coming out as openly bisexual. I've been in love with both men and women," Cortes said in a heartfelt, 11-minute coming-out video he posted to Instagram TV in early August. "I've been proud to be a part of the gay community in my personal life, and I just want to share it now publicly online."

He continued: "I've never been happier, and I look forward to living more of an authentic life and sharing that with you. This is who I am, and who I want to be," he wrote in the caption of his video. "I love you all, and am proud to be part of this community."

In a press release, he reflected on how his experience on "ANTM" informed his life. "I learned that a strong work ethic is the only thing that will ensure you to succeed in life, I saw how hard Tyra (Banks) and her producers worked, the attention to detail they paid in every big and little issue they encountered. The show taught me to approach my projects in a similar manner."

He also announced this week that he's started an OnlyFans page.

"Part of the reason I wanted to create an OnlyFans page was the increasing amount of censorship on social media," he explained.  "The restrictions being placed on creators and photographers is bordering on censorship. I want to be able to shoot and share all of my photos and videos without having to worry about being thrown off of a platform."

Describing himself as a "lover," he said about his sexuality, "I am not a huge fan of labels, but I get that it helps people understand where you lay on the spectrum. I identify as bisexual."

Born and raised in the South Bronx with his parents and six brothers, he explained how his coming out experience was a longtime coming. While he dated women in high school, he recalls having a crush on his 9th grade math teacher. "He was smart with an infectious smile and the prettiest blue eyes," he remembered.

He didn't have sex with a man until he was 21. Today he says his taste in men runs to the Chris Pratt types. He also plans to use his OnlyFans page as a platform to raise the awareness of bisexuality. "I think there are more bisexual people in this world than people realize. I hope to inspire others that may identify with my situation and story."

His focus is on giving fans what they want to see, no matter how salacious. "Modeling has made me comfortable with my body. I don't have any qualms with disrobing. I also love engaging with fans online. It's a personal connection that I strongly believe is harmless and even healthy!"

Marvin Cortes credits the casting director at America's Next Top Model — who found him in Zara, a department store where he worked as a cashier and invited him to audition for their first all-male season — with opening the first door for him. "That fateful meeting led to so many opportunities," he reflects. "If it weren't for her, I'd likely be back in the Bronx teaching high school math like the cool teacher I had a crush on."
